The food galore!

I looked back into my phone and all I saw was food, food and more FOOD!

Jia and I decided to have this for dinner one day.
I love preparing Budae Jiggae because it's so simple (and it's the only dish I know! haha)
We just throw whatever we like into the pot and wala~~ it will always turn out mouth watering :)

WC decided to bring me out for a nice brunch on Good Friday!
We don't usually do brunch together so we decided to do one during the holiday!
Tried Relish at Serangoon Gardens.
I asked him why here cos he said I might like it since it was reviewed by my favourite blogger. Haha so cute!
But he rolled his eyes at me when I said I don't really read her blog anymore.

They only open at 12 so had to wait awhile before we can enter.
I have something for bricks nowadays and I love their simplistic design :)

I can't cropped out the gigantic hands at the back of the photos :(

They don't serve the brunch menu on a Public holiday so I can't try their breakfast burger :(
Opted for this instead. Yummylicious!
The braised meat is so tender and it has a slight 梅菜 taste in it

The mister opted for something normal. Not too bad but the beef and mushroom was already luke warm when served :(

The happy but sleepy us.

The place was pretty cosy and it was a good place to chill and relax away from the hustle and bustle.
WC spent much time there doing his favourite. LOL.
I always question how he can tolerate me talking nonstop to him.
His reply : "I love blabbermouth." ROARRRRRR

And I finally caught the Croods.
The characters are so cute and I was alittle caught back at first because the characters look so lifelike.
Not exactly as funny as I expected but I guess the moral behind the movie makes up for it :)

Never spend so much time working for a living. Do not live like a dead, but live for those you love and value.

Cosy Sunday date at the Central. Surprised how quiet this place even on weekends.
Tried the 松发 BKT opposite the mall. Taste pretty normal.

Our idea of a good lazy date :)

Finally met up with my ladies! Miss them all especially Bella!

Back at Central again. This time to try the korean food at Tae Woo Korean Restaurant

Love how they done up the place. So cottage like!
And best of us, it feels so authentic cos most of the customers were koreans! Heehee.

Very limited side dishes :(

The sweet and sour pork. $26 for this is a tad expenive IMO.
My zichar stall can do an equally nice one at half the price!

This dumpling is blahhhh.. The base is actually plain water!! Arghhh

The food here is pretty ex in my opinion. Paid about $30 each for the 4 dishes.
And my favourite is the jajiangmyeon. This is da domb! And the cheapest of all! WAHAHHAHA.

My girls
We never fail to amaze each other with the most random stuff.
Serene spent the night helping us to 算命 from http://www.123cha.com/xm/ LOL.
She basically managed to interpret the whole reading about our luck, relationship etc that we will never understand.
Take everything with a pinch of salt, we had a good laugh at what fate had installed for us.

Friday date night with my love!!!

I have been raving to WC about how good Genki sushi is.
And he finally got to try it! So glad my boy loves it :)
I had a good laugh at him cos his tiredness literally disappeared from his face the moment the sushi train arrives!
Food is the only thing he love! (Beside me of course! Heehee)
And I only managed to take this picture of our food cos they disappeared at such a fast rate! Imagine how hungry we were!
Wanted to head to Antoinette for their supper but we were too late.

Settled for Shokudo. Their dinner menu looks much better than their dessert  and I can't wait to head there for dinner soon!
We have been pretty moody the whole week cos WC was suffering from work blues and I am experiencing severe PMS. Roarrr.
A good date sure works wonder! :)
And I am so thankful cos the boy is ever so tolerating of my nonsensical and erratic behaviour

Work on a Saturday morning makes us blueeeee.
So my colleague and I head down to PS for a good lunch after that!

Sis' treat to the family cos she got her pay!

And we tried out somewhere new yesterday!
The East side is like a foreign ground to me.
I think I have stepped into the East for less than 10 times a year.

So my first time into Simpang Bedok. (what's that???)
So disappointed when I stepped there.
Saw this across the road- Bedok Shopping Complex. WHERE????

WC told me it's like Serangoon Gardens. More like Malaysia IMO =_=

Luckily they serve really good chasiew and BCM. That explains the queue despite having to eat in the oven-like food centre.

Of course we need some ice cream to cool us down in this weather!
We requested for the waffle to be served separately from the ice cream cos I hate to eat soggy stuff.
And the person actually serves the waffle after we almost finished the ice cream. Zzzzz.

And off we go to the March Home Fair at Expo after that!
Got some good advice for home renovation and unexpected good buy from John Little Fair! ;)

Dinner at LeViet at 112 Katong.
Impromptu decision to eat Vietnamese food and it turned out really good!!!!

This egg crepe has loads of tau geh inside but it tasted really good!

Fried rice roll is really yummeh! It was so good I went to search for its recipe in hope to make it for WC one day!

Beef Pho. I miss Vietnam! :((

Amazed how much I have eaten these days.
Good food makes me happy! 4 more days to the weekend!
