Another year of love

Back with an update for our anniversary celebration.
WC had planned such an awesome weekend for me, so we had a simple dinner for our anniversary this year!

I prepared a little gift for him and am so glad he loved it
A box of some memories we had in the awesome 2013 :)

Dinner was done at Steward Riverboat.
I was a little disappointed at first cos the place feels a little too casual.
But they make it up with the good service and unique experience!

They serve pretty good Mexican food.
The buffalo wing is a must order!! Not getting the fijita! *slurp*

We were blessed with lovely weather that night despite the heavy rain earlier in the day:)

Boo! Look who is the photo bomb!

Look at what we got when we returned to the restaurant!
What a pleasant surprise!:)

To the most awesome boyfriend on earth, thank you for another wonderful year together. For there's no one except you who can make me feel safe, loved and blissful all the time.
Love you baby!

Going to go for our first wedding venue recce tomorrow! Can't wait! *excited*

Staycation at Fullerton Bay

Time passes really quickly, it is almost 2 weeks since he proposed to me, but I still feel a little excited each time I think about it.
So we had a staycation to celebrate his "success". Haha.
This time, WC planned a staycation for us at Fullerton By the Bay!
He is really spoiling me with the choices of his staycation. Of course I am not complaining but at the rate he’s going, there will be no room for improvement anymore!

Before going over, we definitely need to fill the infinite pithole of ours.
Wanted to have dim sum at Royal China at Raffles Hotel but they were fully booked for the day. So we headed to Raffles City which was not a wrong choice, cos we had a really sumptuous lunch at Watami!
We had the deluxe set for 2 and we were really full after that!
See how much food we have?

The satisfied duo!

The place was really great!
Love the room so much:)

I am totally in love with the place except I feel it lacks a little personal touch.
Don’t mistake me for being greedy. I always like hotel which includes something personal and small surprises for their guests.
I read of Fullerton staff offering their guests champagne when they are there for a celebration.
Naturally I was expecting a little surprise from them since they asked WC what we were there for.
Oh well...

We decided to spend the afternoon in the room since the bulk of his money went into the room.
Took a stroll around Esplanade in the evening and it really feel we were out of the city.
See my agoda-worthy photos again!

With a nice performance at Esplanade with my favourite company J
And of course, the night is not complete without a good dinner!

WC has been bugging for a buffet or seafood dinner, so we settled for Jumbo!
Good food makes us happy!!
Loveeeeeeeeeee the chili crab and mantou!

These coffee spare ribs were also very yummy!

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside *slurps*

Haha notice I changed my outfit?
Cos WC got me a new set of clothes to change into!
We were in the car when he asked me to open up the drawer at the front of the car.

“Put your wallet inside leh.”
“For what? Can't I hold my own wallet?”
“Fine, forget it. Your present is inside.”

How cute can he get???
I burst out laughing really loudly cos he always blurt out his own secret.
Why can’t he pretend to ask me to take out carpark coupon or something?

I felt really bad laughing at WC cos I was really touched by his gesture.

It was really sweet of him to get me a new romper for the staycation.
What makes it even more endearing, he got it from the blogshop I always get my clothes from in the right size somemore.

Though I always complain to him about his "emotionless expression", he has always the more sensitive and thoughtful one in our relationship :)

Head back to our room for a nice bubble bath and laser show!!
This is the view from our room.
Forgot to take a picture of the night view! :(

We were contemplating whether to head out for supper at 3am cos we were craving for BCM.
Weird and fat we are I know but
by the time we finally decided to go and get changed, it started pouring really heavily!

Thankfully we never go, otherwise we will really be caught in the rain.
So just when I was about to fall asleep, I got my final surprise!
WC had already planned such an awesome weekend for me, I couldn't have asked for more :)
I already forgot he has got a present for me but look at this!

Love love love this wallet to bits!
Not the kind that will request presents for birthday or anniversaries but this really serves as a very pleasant surprise.
I only remember complaining to WC a few times about the Samantha Thavasa wallet that I was using and he got me exactly one that I need.

Love the colonial feel at the breakfast. Not forgetting the spread and service :)

Look who came along for our staycation?

It was indeed the most memorable staycation we had.
When I told WC that, he said it was meant to be as he wanted me to remember this special night even 10 years from now :)
We are now one step closer and move on to the new phase of life together.
As much as our "status" has changed, one thing remained constant. I will always be beside you.
Thank you for so much love and happiness, I will never know what to do without you.
Love you baby! <3

A thousand days of love

Love has been wanting to bring me to a "special date" last week.

We were supposed to go for a romantic steak dinner at Wooloomooloo (Don't even know where that was till I googled it haha)

But I waited from 5 to 6 to 7 to finally 1030 before I met WC. No thanks to his OT :(

In the end, I was instructed to meet at Kallang.
Immediately knew where we were going when I reached there!

Turned out WC wanted to celebrate our 999th day (being more mathematically inclined, I corrected him and told him it was the 1000th day instead heehee)

Where else but 126???

This scallop roll is da bomb!

Of course I won't miss out a special date like this cos it was in one of my P.P.D. heehee
Got this book for love as a reminder for us to be appreciative and keep our love tank full at all times :)

Back to where we had our first date a thousand days ago, ordered the same if not more food, but the feeling is entirely different.
I always tell him, I am not good at expressing my thoughts in words.
Thankfully, I found someone who can understand me well without saying much :)
Let's continue to love each other, irritate each other for the next thousands of days.
Love you poky!

Monthsary love ♥

Saw on some blog and they had great review of Steamsia so I decided to get WC to try it with me for our monthsary dinner.

Sometimes review can go wrong too :(

Firstly, the place is so difficult to find.
Secondly, we didn't expect the place to be so empty ( I was still wondering if we will have seats since I didn't make reservation)
Thirdly, they had bad, in fact no service at all. LOL.

So once again, I was being "mocked at" for my choice of food places.
No more 再接再厉. WC will plan the rest! MUAHAHAHA.

Headed to City Square for some ice cream cos I was craving for something cold.
LOUSY SERVICE AGAIN! :((

But end of the day, it was still a good night cos I had the best company as always! :)

Happy Monthsary love! ♥♥

The season of love

Celebrated our anniversary last Saturday. It's hard to plan something when it falls on a weekday but WC always have something to surprise me :)

We went to Halia for dinner. It was a nice, long Al fresco dinner, away from the hustle and bustle. Guilty of being the unhealthy and non-nature lover, I can't even remember when was the last time I stepped into the Botanical Garden. It was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday evening, and we had already make plans to head there for a picnic soon! I love going on a stroll with WC, just enjoying each others' company and having endless things to talk about.

Thought Risotto for appetiser is a little to filling but it tuned out to be so refreshing cos the rice turned out to be bean sprouts!

My scallop. Freaking nice! My eyes lit up the moment I sent it into my mouth. Haha no joke!

My duck confit. I was secretly hoping I ordered the seabass that my neighbouring table was having.
WC's baby steak. Really tender and nice!

Our only picture together. Booboo for the lousy photo quality. So hard to take nice pictures in a dimly- lit place:(

We sneaked our baby elmo and cookie monster in. Heehee.
Another picture together. I hate the flash! :(

The staff were rather sweet to prepare a dessert for our anniversary. But I find it really weird to have my name on it. Haha.

The staff were really attentive and know their stuff well- except for one. Haha. The manager came and started introducing us their specialty. I was totally clueless and I sneaked a peek at WC and he looked equally lost. So chim meh?
Haha turned out the waitress passed us the wrong menu. Other than that, everything deserves a thumb up! :)

We had our Part II which was a simple dinner on the actual day. This was supposedly our part III but our picnic on Sunday was ruined by the rain :(

Food makes us happy!!!

And love prepared a little surprise for me! <3
Thanks for being my strength, my comfort, my joy and hope. Happy Anniversary pok, I love you <3

True love isn't Romeo and Juliet who died together. It's Grandma and Grandpa who grew old together.
