Photoshoot with my girls!

Long overdue post but decided to post it nonetheless.
Boss gave us a complimentary photoshoot voucher so we girls decided to go ahead with it.
It almost got called of because so many of us can't make it but so glad the three of us went ahead with it!
So much fun with the two of them :)
There were many more candid photos that we took (the photographer made us climb a tree!) and I can't believe she didn't edit any of those. The poses she chose were so repetitive and boring. Haha probably cos we didn't want to do a top up for the photos.
But these are good enough for me!

I love girly outing

Just realised I have disappeared from this space for a whole two weeks!

WC is finally back but I did spend a good two weeks catching up with friends :)

Meeting was cancelled so MGS grabbed the chance for a lunch date at Dulcet & Studio.
I always wanted to try this place cos I pass by it everyday when I go to work.
So happy I finally got to try it!

Love the scandinavian look of this place!

I sent WC this picture immediately cos this is somewhat like my future dream kitchen!

The food was pretty good and fairly priced. Can't wait to come back with love again!

Had a really spontaneous trip with my dearest girlfriends last Saturday.
We initially planned to have a crab feast but the plan changed on the day itself.
Haha woke up to my dearest girls groupchat messages that we were going JB!

Movie date with my girls before a good feast!
Caught 'Gravity' but it was so boring in our opinion. Although it was highly raved by many, but sci-fic is really not our cup of tea.
Imagine me sitting there for 1.5h watching Sandra Bullock floating in space.
Thankfully for the exchange rate, JB's movie ticket is as good as 1 for 1.
And a good feast in City Square after that.
Each of us paid only about 12 bucks for such feast! Shiok or what?

Because I don't eat beehoon and PY doesn't eat noodle, we ordered two pot of tomyum noodle.
Haha really underestimated ourselves cos we thought we couldn't finished, but we polished up everything!

My pretty girls before dinner <3

With our dear PY who will be heading to US soon with her hubby.
We are so gonna miss all her fun and nonsense, but I am sure it will be a really memorable year for the couple :)

A pretty group shot by the friendly staff.
So thankful for a bunch of girlfriends who still make time for each other despite our busy schedule.

And guess where we head to next?
.
.
My dear girls decided to teach me MAHJONG!
Because they believe that beginners need to pay 学费 to learn how to play (and of course I don't want to), I was offered 50% of my school fee, so all my loss and winning were cut by half.
Thanks to my shifu, I only paid $2+ for a whole night of mahjong! Muahahaha.

Think I was a little crazy, I actually went shopping with the sis in the afternoon though I did not sleep a wink the previous night.

My crazy sis feeling happy after getting her beloved wallet and dessert

And when looking for inspiration for our rooms is too difficult, we decided to have a good meal instead.

Jia finally got her craving satisfied! :))

*************
And finally, my dearest fiance is back!

I promised him a home cooked lunch when he's back and as requested, his favourite vongole!
This time I added much more seafood and butter and it tasted really good!!!

I don't know why I always thought WC will be very busy at work in US, who knows he was busy shopping in US! Hahahaha.
I really LOL when I saw this.
He says he doesn't need to buy CNY clothes for two years already.

Two weeks might not be long, but it's enough for me to know I cannot take a LDR.
But I am still glad WC had a good trip cos you seldom sees him blabbering about something non stop:)

Everything he sees reminds him of San Franciso. The food, the shopping, the scenic view...
Have to admit I lost track of what he's talking about at times, but I love listening and watched how he shares about something he's really happy about :)

Look what awaits me when he's back!

It's the weekend again.
Woke up and suddenly decided to complete this post.
Have a good weekend for those who chanced upon this space!
Till then...

Happy Birthday Jia!

And if there was any man there's on my mind right now, it must be Piaget.

I finally got my butt off to start working on my report.
After two days of cooping-myself-up-in-the-room routine, I am finally done!

And finally some time to blog about about Jia's birthday celebration :)

Daddy will give a treat to the whole family every time we celebrate our birthday.
The usual zichar place where we had our meal was closed for renovation so we wandered around to some new place near Farrer Park for dinner cos Jia was craving for crab!

Dinner for 4.
A table full of sis' favourite dishes!

And what can be more huat during dinner when mummy said she strike 4D.
And guess what, Daddy strike 4D too!!! Double Huat!
All thanks to my sis' lucky day!

We had a good laugh at cake cutting after that because of our cutest ahma.
She refused to be in the picture cos she said she never style her hair.
So we got her to take a picture for us..
Most of our pictures ended up being out of focus or have her hands and legs in it.
Hahaha not that she doesn't know how to focus, but how to take photo with one hand when she's trying to cover her face with the other cos she was scared we will sneak a picture of her.

Yes, I feel so bored without WC around.
I told him it's the wonder of the ring. Not like he has not been to work trip before, but I kinda miss him more this trip than his other trips :(
Although I got a lot more me-time to meet up with friends and all, the feeling 就是不一样 =_=
I am so thankful the sister is having her recess week this week, so she could stay home the whole week!

We had a belated celebration on Friday, doing all her favourite as requested.
Introduced Jia to Teo Heng and sang our hearts out!
And we took a long time navigating ourselves to Ju Shin Jung for dinner cos we are two ultimate road idiots!

The story goes like that:
First I decided to gehkiang and walk into a dead end alley while looking for I12.
Then Jia decided to use her "spoiled" navigator and we ended up walking a long way in the opposite direction though the place we wanted to find was just beside I12!
Haha she said it was a fair deal cos we each took turn to make each other walk an extra mile.

The best Korean restaurant ever!
This time I am not going to sit in their "VIP room" and feel so suffocated and smelly again.
The seats outside were more ventilated!

There isn't much variety but I love the freshness and good service here.
Don't they look good??

Happy Birthday my dearest!
Thank you for being the most awesome sis ever..
May everyday be as blessed if not more blessed than each day of your life! Love you much! *muacks*

It's all about FOOD!

I love spending quality time with my friends and loved ones especially when there's always good food to go along.

Finally tried Koh Grill and Sushi Bar @ Wisma.
I now understand why the queue is so long all the time cos the sushi is so yummy!

We got ourselves a counter seat, where I sat there admiring the chef systematically preparing the grill.

Looks good but not very good. hahaha

I was really full that day cos I just had high tea at Carousel but this was tempting enough to get me to devour 2 big pieces!
Poor Gen had to finish the rest of the sushi on her own. Haha

We did our first hotel recce at Regent last Saturday and if nothing goes wrong, we will be having our wedding there! *Excited*

And if we need an excuse to feast again, this calls for a celebration right? Heehee.

Headed to Raffles City cos we wanted to visit Fairmont, so an impromptu lunch at Buffet Town.
We aren't expecting really fresh and quality food for the price we paid, but it's enough to satisfy WC our craving for buffet!

A random Wednesday date with love at Nex.
I remember it's Wednesday cos it's Free scoop day!
Ice cream makes people happy.
First time trying this cotton candy flavour and I am so gonna eat it again!

A surprise from the BFF :)
Love how the head wriggles every time I hit it. Haha

A treat from the sister last Monday at Sichuan Dou Hua.
Our favourite Chinese cuisine buffet thus far!

The sister is back on a Monday!
Not complaining although I am used to having the whole bed to myself already! Heehee
Love doing retarded stuff and irritating each other all the time.

And love treated his family to East Ocean last Saturday for dimsum.
I was so excited because I heard so much good reviews about them and their custard bun!
And true enough, the food never fail us!
Best dimsum ever.. and the quality of the food is worth every cent we paid for *slurps*
Gonna bring my parents over to try soon!

The food were so alluring, I had WC's mum and sister joining me in our food camwhoring ! heehee.

This 'sio ba' deserves a solo shot on its own.
So crispy yet succulent. OMOOOOO.

Ending the post with a picture of our turtles..
