We love XXL Pizza!

Had a meetup with the gang last Sunday for some pizza and to see the new addition to our family! haha.

Headed to Peperoni Pizzeria that was highly recommended by Bella. The picture was a little blur as I took it in a rush before everyone swarm for the food. haha.

Calarmari Fritti was quite normal in my opinion.
First time trying squid pasta! Yummeh!

The highlight of the day! It's seriously huge and the 6 of us have problems finishing it. The crust was really thin and nicely done. I can't remember what we ordered (pancetta i think), that was really good! The peperoni was a tad too oily and salty for our liking.

We can't help but camwhore with it

A group picture together <3

They have a nice cosy setting for chillout with friends and birthday celebration. The table beside us ordered 3 XXL pizzas. Wonder how they can finish them!

End off the post with a picture of my pretty ladies :)

Our not-so-scary Halloween

We wanted to head down to the USS for their Halloween night this year but it clashes with the day I came back from my Malacca work trip.

So we headed down to the Flyers for their FrightFest instead since they also have some halloween event on. We had a nice chillout by the river, enjoying the breeze and beautiful view.

The old school food food court

The fright night doesn't look scary at all (after hearing all the raves about the one at USS) and we could actually see part of the trails from the 2nd level. No point going so we headed for their outdoor movie screening.

Pretty fun hanging out watching a movie together. Families and couples actually prepared food and picnic mats for the event! Since it was an impromtu session for us, we had POPEYES!

Headed down to the ACM after that since the night was still young. It was quite funny to see their staff dress up as ghosts and monsters. Took pictures with two we deemed more "scary". I was leaning so close to WC cos the ghost in white keeps staring at me. Haha I know he is not real but it's still scary!

Cheap-thrilling with the props around the ACM

Just realise it's halloween today.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FOLKS! :)

Choupinette

Brunch with YH last Sunday. We wanted to try out some places we have never tried before so Choupinette here we come!

It was pretty crowded for a weekend, but we were lucky to get a seat cos they do not take in reservations on weekend if you have less than 6 pax.

They have a wide array of bread and if you choose to have it in the cafe, they do heat up for you :)

My egg benedict. Looks pretty plain but the taste is much better than it looks :)

YH had the same, just that hers was done with smoked salmon.

The meal comes with a cuppa nice hot chocolate

Nono, I don't know her. She just happened to get in my picture when I tried to take a picture of the pretty tarts behind her.

Headed to Island Creamery after a really filling brunch. But what's a complete meal without dessert?

This is what I get when I say "Say Cheese!"

And a shot together cos we haven't taken a picture together for the longest time!

Happy 25th ♥ @ 姑妈家

Celebrated our 25th two weeks back over a simple dinner :)

WC brought me to a new place called 姑妈家 near Potong Pasir.

The owner of the shop really looks like the gu mama below! And she's really friendly. Haha you won't really feel like you are eating in a restaurant.

I am feeling hungry just looking at these pictures

My favorite kinda fried fish that you can chew till the last bit!

Purposely capture sucha silly pose of love. haha

And I am suppose to kiss the fish cos I insisted on ordering that!

Just read ieatishootipost's post on the same restaurant, I think I missed out all their signature dishes! Shall go back and try their cereal sotong and chili crab soon!

Weekend booster!

My booster to fuel me up for a new week! Teehee

Dinner date with love at TCC. I wonder how he always look so photogenic and energetic on photo though he just ended a long day at work plus OT.

The classic club sandwich. Yumz.

Can't remember the name but the scallop is super yummy!

Tried this honey citrus fizz for the first time but it's nothing amazing.

While enjoying our food, I can't help but eavesdrop on this really tyrannical lady beside us. She complained about her hot water being too cool, her food being sour (she was just being paranoid cos her friend said it was fine), her table being too small blah blah blah. She was really scolding the waiters the moment she stepped in till the time she asked for the bill. She ended off with a really ridiculous conversation:

L: Why is the bill so expensive? *stare at waiter*
W: Err.. These were the food you ordered.
L: I don't remember it being so expensive the other time I came. *Stare at waiter again*

Obviously, it was because you ate ALOT, tyrant!

We decided to make our dates a little more interesting by bringing each other to places we have never been to before, be it a restaurant delicacy or hawker fare.

First up was WC's idea to Waffletown at Balmoral Plaza.

But... 人算不如天算, I came here for lunch a few times when I went to work! That makes the poor boy really upset. Haha failed on his first attempt!

Nonetheless, we still went ahead with the plan cos it's the company that matters more than the food! :)

Our ripple and cookies and cream waffle. Really good stuff!!

Plus some super yummy chicken wings

Headed off to Clarke Quay after making his specs. Can't wait to see his new look!

Just gonna randomly end off the blog post with this picture we took at Clarke Quay cos I like it (haha) and I am too tired to continue blogging. Ciao!

Past-agram too!

Instagram has got to be my favourite app thus far, thanks to Danjakk who "forced" me to get an account. Haha.

It helps me to recall what I have done and beautify my pictures with the prettiest effects.

Morning run at Punggol Park. Trying to get our lazy asses off to start some healthy regime!

Jia and I made some pretty mooncake together :)

Late night supper at AppleBee. They have really good deal after 9 even on weekends! :)

Swensens treat from colleagues. I have not stepped into Swensens for desserts for years and it only proves I am right. Service was slow and ice-cream was not really impressive IMO.

Our favourite pigging out session. How can I not grow fat if I keep feasting on these!

My sweet treat for the week!

We finally settled our NZ-Aussie itinenary after procrastinating for the longest time. I am getting excited just thinking about our stargazing at Lake Tekapo, hot air balloon, glacier climbing, bungee jump etc etc!

Be it whether I dare to do it or not, the thought of it is really EXCITING! *Heart pounding faster* Just that it has busted our budget by quite abit but it should be quite worth it! :)
