Happy Thanksgiving! 

No, I don't celebrate Thanksgiving. In fact, I don't really know the significance behind thanksgiving but I guess it's a day to give thanks for what you have and what others have given you :)

The day started well with a retreat at work.

We tried Batik Painting for the first time today!

It takes loads of concentration and effort cos the paint smudges really quickly. From the tracing, to waxing, to the choosing of colour and the shading..

And my final pieces! The peacock was done on a silk cloth while the flowers were done on a cotton cloth.

After the second layering. The teacher said my piece can fetch $3000! Haha feels so flattered!

They look completely different after the second layering! 

Headed to MS for dinner and decided on buffet steamboat cos WC was so hungry. Besides, steamboat is always our first choice on a rainy day :)

Food makes WC very happy :)

Looked so shag after a long retreat at work. Batik and scrapbooking is really not my cup of tea.

Some pretty dessert after meal ♥♥♥

Wanted to catch a movie after meal but there's no nice movie recently. The last one we caught was Ah Boy to Men and I am already looking forward to Part 2 of it though I don't like Jack Neo at all. 

On a side note, Christmas is coming real soon! Christmas decorations are up and we can't help camwhoring with the pretty Xmas tree at MS.

Saw the claw machines when WC decided to get me an elmo plush.

It was our first time trying and I finally understand why people are so addicted to it.
It really make your heart skip a beat when you thought you were about to win one and your heart literally sinks when you miss it. Haha.

And finally! WC actually gave me a hug when he won one. Haha can you sense how much we wanna win?

Wanted to get the purple elmo with a cupcake but there's only the yellow and pink ones left :(

WC ambitiously promised to get me the whole collection so we can put at our bedtop in future.
But my first thought was: " Then we must really spent a bomb on them!" Heehee,
