Mini Getaway: Tempat Senang

Back from our mini getaway, blogging now with a little withdrawal syndrome :(

I have heard so many positive reviews of Tempat Senang, and honestly I was pretty excited until they screwed up my reservation (cum surprise for WC) the other time.
Headed there again this time, excitement dropped by 50%.
The other 50% sustained cos it's another holiday with love and it's fully sponsored by Tempat Senang!

We brought loads of food this time! Haha But we only finished half of them.

Look who sneaks into our holiday again? :)

We need to try their famous Beer Chicken when we are there.

Wonderfully done, crispy on the outside, tender in the inside. Just can't seemed to taste the beer though.

The chicken costs us 50 bucks. But we thought it was damn worth it considering the effort and skills into it.

What's more, it's HUGE! 1.6kg chicken!!

I seriously think our appetite is huge. Or maybe it's just the holiday indulgence mode turned on.
When we see the table beside us ordering dessert, we ordered one too. Haha

We explored the new wing the next day after breakfast. 

New pool and they have many interesting rooms available.

Pretty cool cos they converted one of the room into a mini theatre as well! 

I can't help but look so happy in all the photos. 

I am seriously enjoying every minute of it although there's nothing much to do. 

Irony I know, but that happiness is hard to describe :)

Now you see us, now you don't.

I guess probably cos we got a lot of undisturbed time together.

Leaving behind all the work and enjoying the precious time we have together. 

Sometimes, happiness is just so simple :) 

The only time you get disturbed is during meal and spa time.

Because they only cater to 9 rooms in the resort, we have to order our lunch and dinner way before meal time.

They converted their Timor room into their Spa room.

THEY HAVE THE BEST SPA EVER!

What's the chance WC liking massages and actually complimenting it?

I love the idea of having one private hut to ourselves doing massage with the very attentive masseurs.

First time trying and loving it! 

I decided to go for a dip after the massage.
Since WC was down with a flu and feels particularly clean and smooth after his scrub (haha), he went to chill by the poolside instead.

There's so little people around and so much privacy. Loving it!

So energetic after my 3hours spa!

Like a boss!

And most of the time spent outside the room was playing pool, if not on food.

My shifu who taught me how to play. 帅! hahaha

Second day dinner was done at the restaurant again.
They don't not allow us to dine in our room cos they say there were insects (but we were joined by so many flies and mosquitoes during meal, so what's the diff??)

I don't like the restaurant but I like the food!

These satay were so good they deserve a picture on their own!

The last night was spent in the room playing games, drawing on our faces and all the dumb forfeits. Heehee.

This pretty much sums up our mini getaway.

Soaking in the calmness of this nature serenity, in a world of just you and me.
We will be back, Tempat Senang :)

WC has been so busy these days it's hard to meet for a proper dinner on weekday :(

Van's Hens night!

Can't wait to blog about this cos it was the best friend's hens night last Saturday!

Vanessa requested for something simple and cosy so we booked a room at M studio for her.

We spent the day in the room doing all the girly stuff: manicure, camwhoring and all the x-rated games and talks. LOL.

Spent the morning decorating the room with all the pink and white balloons before Van arrives.
PX amazingly blew 40 balloons by herself (cos no one dares to blow haha)! 

We even roped in the manicurist to help! Wahahaha.

I told her I needed to go to the lobby to collect our dessert and asked her to guess what my surprise will be.
Hahaha the very cute bride didn't suspect me at all though I was on my phone the whole evening and still thought I ordered a rainbow cake for her.

And thank god, we have the very talented Sharon who made these really pretty props for us to camwhore!

Hopefully my danjakk had an enjoyable night and relief some stress in the midst of all the wedding preparation :)
